Children today still love Lego but what you can make with it is far more advanced and varied than when I was a child. In the 60's Lego was largely a brick and therefore I would build houses with my Lego.
There is alot of learning that goes on in play and Lego is great for learning to design and be creative. We didn't have nearly the same amount of Lego as my children have but we had this large box set which was added too over the years. In amongst the square and rectangular block were beveled blocks for making roofs. I learnt how to make a gable and a hip roof. All good stuff for a budding young architect.
One of the biggest learnings from Lego is that it is fun and so is architecture.
If you want to work with an architect who can make the design and build process as fun as playing with Lego give me a call.
