I always think it is important to have a good outlook from a kitchen and in fact any workspace. Really nice to look up from what you are doing and relax your eyes.
At my high-performance bach at Castle Hill, I carefully placed a tall window in the kitchen to give a slice of the landscape from sky to foreground. This morning as I did the dishes this was my view, a blue bird day after yesterday's snowstorm.
Castle Hill village and the whole basin has been transformed into Narnia. Time to hit the powder slopes.
If you'd like to build in your special place and want to work with an architect who knows how to frame a view, give me a call.
